On Friday, September 5th President Trump signed an executive order officially declaring the name change of the ‘Department of Defense’ to ‘Department of War’. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated the reason for the change perfectly; “The motto of my first infantry platoon was: “Those who long for peace, must prepare for war.” The War Department will be prepared every day & in every way — to ensure our citizens live in peace. Peace through strength.”
