On Tuesday, October 14th President Trump hosted a ceremony to posthumously award the beloved Charlie Kirk the Medal of Freedom. The Medal of Freedom was established in 1945 by President Harry S. Truman and serves as the highest honor a United States citizen can receive. The recipient is chosen by only the President.
