The largest farm organization & farmer advocate in the USA, American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) reports that the cost of the average Thanksgiving Meal is down OVER $5 per a person and serves as one of the biggest yearly drops in US history!
“Cooking a Thanksgiving dinner for your friends and family will cost less than last year, marking the third straight year of price declines. The American Farm Bureau Federation’s 40th annual Thanksgiving dinner survey provides a snapshot of the average cost of Thanksgiving staples that make up a classic holiday feast for 10, which is $55.18 or about $5.52 per person” stated an AFBF representative.
The average cost of a Thanksgiving Day meal in 2025 is nearly 50% less (or $9 per person cheaper) than it was in the Biden Administration in 2022.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported a significant drop in retail price and a huge sale increase for Thanksgiving Dinner necessities; “USDA found that between November 15 and 21 in 2025, 49.8% of stores sold budget-friendly bundled Thanksgiving deals compared to just 33.5% in 2024. Meanwhile, 18.6% of stores offered free turkeys with an additional purchase.”
The cost of a few smaller & less traditional items has slightly increased (mostly due to faming obstacles), but the fact is the major & the most demanded items have drastically decreased and continue on a very promising downward trend. Turkey price alone has decreased a whopping 16% in ONE YEAR!!
The Biden administration drove prices for nearly all Thanksgiving necessities and most other household items to all-time record-shattering highs! Under Biden, the national debt increased by approximately $7.9 trillion in less than four years! During the four years of President Trump’s first term, the national debt increased 6.5 trillion (1.4 trillion less than the 7.9 trillion increase from the Biden administration).
For a truthful comparison of President Trump & President Biden inflation, it is also 100% essential to acknowledge that about $1 trillion (or 15% of the Trump administration total national debt increase) remained unspent and secured aside in reserve due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The unspent $1 trillion by the Trump administration remained in the national reserve until it was later spent by the succeeding Biden administration! The Biden administration would then proceed to borrow another whopping $7 trillion dollars on top of that leading to one of the most severe and rapid inflation increases in United States history!
It is rightfully argued by many fact-based economists that Biden did more damage to the United States than any other President or political leader in history and Biden may (and should) go down in history as the most damaging (and corrupt) President in America’s history.
Prices for nearly all essential items hit record-shattering heights during the careless & corrupt Biden administration. To see a long awaited significant drop in essential Thanksgiving items and nearly all other household essential items should be absolute 100% proof (despite the many fake Biden-Kamala loving, Trump-hating news outlets) that the country chose wisely and correctly in the November 2024 election and thankfully ignored the fake news.
Unfortunately many news outlets continue on a daily basis to obscenely exaggerate or just straight-up lie to make Trump look bad… Perhaps it’s time to remove protections that help these corrupt outlets avoid the slander fees or criminal charges the average citizen could get for making up damaging lies like the broadcast legacy media does every day!
