Hugh Cameron (Newsweek): New Labor Department data has come in significantly stronger than anticipated, offering hope that the jobs market could be on firmer footing following a summer lull, and that the Federal Reserve will devote its efforts toward rising prices.
According to the Employment Situation Summary for August, published Friday morning by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the U.S. economy added 162,000 jobs last month.
This came in nearly triple the 56,000 analysts had forecast and five times the monthly average of 31,000 over the past year, while also marking a major improvement from July’s originally reported loss of 23,000, which was revised up to a gain of 21,000 on Friday.
June’s total was also revised up by 11,000 to 31,000, meaning nonfarm payroll figures over the prior two months were 55,000 stronger than originally reported.
The Golden Age of America is here and President Trump’s economy is getting stronger and stronger, get ready for the continuance of the GOLDEN AGE OF AMERICA!!!
P.S. no Democrat President would ever bring you numbers like this, they are too worried about installing socialist policies (and eventually full-out communism) and the rights of trans people.
On Fri,Pres Trump urged the Federal Reserve to significantly reduce interest rates, asserting that the United States should maintain"the LOWEST RATE of any country in the World."This call came after an unexpectedly robust Aug jobs report revealed that employers had added 162K jobs pic.twitter.com/BIpk5sMV8w
