On Wednesday (April 6th), Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that $600 billion dollars over the next 4 years will be invested from Apple into the United States economy over the next four years. The announcement marked a $100 billion dollar increase from the amount initially promised by the Apple CEO. Cook stated that the investment will provide 20,000 new jobs at Apple and that there will also be a new smart glass manufacturing line built in Kentucky which will partake in building all the screens for I-phones & other Apple products throughout the world!
Apple CEO Tim Cook also presented President Trump with an engraved glass apple plate set in a base of 24K gold trophy to celebrate the historic investment by Apple into the United States economy. Cook also stated Apple would establish an educational academy in Michigan focused on manufacturing and boost its investment in a fund aimed at fostering innovation across the U.S.
