President Joe Biden was heavily criticized for signing a proclamation declaring March 31st which happens to be 2024’s Easter Sunday “Transgender Day of Visibility“. According to multiple sources, Catholics make up approximately 20%-30% of the US population and according to numerous studies and surveys, approximately 2/3rds or 67% of the USA population celebrate Easter. Outrage was expressed all-over social media due to the insensitive and disrespectful proclamation by Biden.
It’s one thing to support transgender persons or people who wish to be an alternate gender but to schedule a holiday recognizing these individuals on one of the biggest religious holidays in the country is clearly insulting and totally disrespectful to the majority of American people. If you believe in God and celebrate Easter, you have every right to feel completely disrespected by the Biden Whitehouse.
It has also been reported that Biden has banned any form of religious symbolism in White House Easter related activities which should make all wonder, is the Biden White House and Democrats anti-God or anti-religion? They may say they respect all religions and beliefs but it’s been made perfectly clear they do not and could care less about what the US people think or believe. New York Governor, Kathy Hochul has Biden’s back in celebrating transgenderism over Easter. CBS-NY and multiple other sources have reported NY Governor Kathy Hochul ordered the World Trade Center be lit up in the colors of the transgender flag and declared Sunday, March 31st as “Transgender Day of Visibility” in New York.
Republican Presidential Candidate, Donald Trump expressed that Biden owes America an apology for the insulting proclamation; “The Biden White House has betrayed the central tenet of Easter — which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Banning sacred truth and tradition—while at the same time proclaiming Easter Sunday as “Transgender Day”—is outrageous and abhorrent,” Johnson said. “This is why the American people are taking note.”
