This past Thursday, Donald Trump attended the wake of slain NYPD officer Jonathan Diller.
Diller, a 31-year-old married dad, was mortally wounded by 21-time arrested ex-con, Guy Rivera while checking on a vehicle parked at a bus stop.
Trump’s campaign spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt announced that the former president was invited by the family of Officer Diller to attend the wake. Leavitt stated to the New York Post; “President Trump is moved by the invitation to join NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller’s family and colleagues as they deal with his senseless and tragic death”.
The same day Donald Trump was at the wake of officer Jonathan Diller in Long Island, current president Joe Biden hosted an expensive campaign fundraiser approximately an hour-away at Radio City Music Hall with Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. Biden did not attend the wake and reportedly has not personally contacted the family of the fallen officer.
New York Governor, Kathy Hochul who endorsed Biden was reportedly turned away from attending the services. NYPD Detectives Endowment Association president, Paul DiGiacomo called out some NY democrat politicians; “Adrienne Adams, Jumaanee Williams and their cohorts should stay home. They detest cops and have no appreciation for what they do. They should stay home and not pretend they are grieving. They have caused enough heartbreak and destruction,” SBA President Vincent Vallelong told The Post.”
“The only thing we can say is maybe something’s going to be learned,” Trump said. “We’ve got to toughen it up, we’ve got to strengthen it up. This should never be allowed. Things like this shouldn’t take place and to take place so often,” Trump told reporters.
