President Trump announced today (Wednesday April 9th) that ALL reciprocal tariffs for every country except China will be lowered to 10% for 90 days while deals are in the works that benefit both parties. Since China was the only country to implement a reciprocal tariff in return of Trump’s initial reciprocal tariffs, President Trump announced Chinese products will be tariffed at 125%. Following the announcement the Dow Jones shot up about 2,500 points!
The Trump administration announced over 70 countries have reached out to the White House to make a deal & China was the only country that retaliated against the tariffs and therefore will not get the 90 day pause & 10% tariff.
Economists and experts throughout the financial world are defining the actions by the Trump administration as perhaps one of the greatest economic strategies in history! View more below!
