A common theme arising in College & NFL football is athletes taking a moment to praise God and thank our Lord & Savior. Notre Dame QB, Riley Leonard joined the wonderful growing trend; “First & foremost, I want to thank my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him, I wouldn’t be here. We wouldn’t be here”.
The game took place at the Super Dome in New Orleans and was postponed to Thursday, January 2nd at 4pm due to the New Years Eve terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in downtown New Orleans. Notre Dame won the game 23 to 10 and advances to the College Football playoff Semi-finals to take on Penn State on Thursday, January 9th at 7:30pm at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
