The United States hockey team went into Montreal and absolutely destroyed Canada’s best talent in front of the hostile pro-Canada crowd who booed the US National Anthem at the start of the festivities. Soon as the whistle sounded, the USA hockey team took off their gloves 3 times in the first 9 seconds of the game to throw punches and then delivered the ultimate punch in the gut to the Canadian team with a 3-1 dominant win in the 4 nations tournament. “There were 31 hits in the first period: 17 for the U.S., and 14 for Canada.” (NHL.com)

After both teams netted a goal in the 1st period, the US team would add another goal in each of the two following periods and take the win 3 to 1. USA center, Jake Guentzel (Tampa Bay Lightning) had the 1st (1st period) and 3rd goal (3rd period) for team USA and Dylan Larkin (Detroit Red Wings) netted the 2nd goal of the game for USA in the 2nd period.

The Trump-Vance administration has recently received some negative reactions from the pro-Canada crowd after President Trump claimed the Canadian government took advantage of the United States and relies heavily on the USA for essential resources while taxing an inequivalent amount and failing to assist with security at the USA/Canada boarder. President Trump imposed hefty tariffs toward Canadian goods but would later decrease them once an agreement with Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau was reached. The agreed upon deal included equal taxation rates, Canadian military assistance in security of the US/Canada boarder and the Canadian government increasing efforts to cut down on the amount of fentanyl coming into the United States through Canada.

President Trump also criticized the Canadian government for their heavy reliance on funding and military assistance from the United States for Canada’s national security. Trump stated that Canada would be better off joining the USA as the nations “51st state” due to their hefty reliance on the United States. The comments by Trump stating that Canada should become part of the United States enraged many Canadian citizens (especially leftists) and was heavily criticized by multiple Canadian government officials.

After Saturday’s hockey game, perhaps Canada should have listened to President Trump, not only could becoming part of the United States help their struggling economy, it could have clearly helped their hockey team. 🙂

All joking aside, we love our Canadian neighbors even if they don’t become a US state or territory, but as President Trump has constantly shown… with a Trump administration running USA, it will always be about America First!
